Cockburn Youth Centre is providing at-risk youth with a safe and supportive environment. The centre implements many programs that teach youth how to complete what most would consider basic tasks, like cooking and meal prepping, as well as job focused programs to help them enter the workforce.

Kerri Mulford started as a volunteer at the centre five-years ago and has now turned it into her career. Having worked in the same centre for as long as she has, Kerri is sincerely passionate about the work the centre does and the kids it helps, she talks openly about the positive effect these programs have on the youth and how they truly benefit from them.

She also speaks candidly about her personal experiences, why she would like to see more Youth Centre’s being built in WA and around Australia, and how you can help by volunteering.
